History

Max HP Productions launched in 2024 as SWELL's dedicated production and post-production arm. For over a decade, SWELL's in-house production capabilities had grown alongside its creative services — eventually reaching a scale and quality level that warranted its own brand. Max HP was built to formalize that capability: a full-service production company handling everything from microcontent to broadcast, with end-to-end post-production in-house. AI tools from sister division S77.AI are integrated into post workflows for previsualization, environment extension, automated versioning, and intelligent asset management.

Founder

Paris-born, Sorbonne-educated creative director, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. Malak founded SWELL in 2010 as a creative content studio and has directed campaigns for Hermès, Samsung, Nike, MCM, Vogue Korea, CR Fashion Book, Kate Spade, and Juicy Couture. In 2024, he launched Max HP Productions as SWELL's dedicated production and post-production arm — delivering broadcast-level results with lean teams, senior talent, and AI-assisted workflows powered by S77.AI.
